Jason Henninger: The Illustrated Fan
Tor.com / Science fiction and fantasy / Blog posts / The Illustrated Fan
Facebook is down...
It would figure that on the day I decide to start blogging again and attempt to integrate the blog to my facebook pages, that facebook would failbook - DNS error.
Anyway, once facebook is up again and I haven't spent 2 hours setting up the blog, I'll be posting 2-3 times per week on various subjects, not the least of which is the weekly book giveaways. This week we're giving away a copy of Steven Wedel's Seven Days in Benevolence to a lucky fan of our facebook page - the drawing was to be this afternoon but as I cannot access the list of facebook fans today, I am postponing the drawing until Friday morning.
I'll also be blogging about the latest new and used science fiction, fantasy, horror, mystery, and other cool stuff that makes its way into the catalogs at Kayleighbug Books - partially for the convenience of our customers who would rather read a blog than browse virtual shelves at the website - but also for the entertainment and informative value it may provide to my readers whether or not they are customers.
I'll also be commenting on various political, social and economic issues, interviewing authors and others in the publishing industry, writing commentary on the bookselling industry, writing informative articles on book collecting, bookselling, and the publishing industry.
If this blog is to have a unifying theme it is this - it will always be about books or will be written by a professional bookseller.
