On Preternatura, Suzanne Johnson's blog, she has posted a complete novella set in the swamps and wetlands of St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana.
The story is set in the same urban fantasy world as her upcoming novels from Tor Books. The first novel, Royal Street, will be available in April, 2012.
