Little, Brown, and Company has launched a new suspense imprint - Mulholland Books. Not launching quietly, Mulholland made a big splash this morning with a dedicated issue of PW Daily from Publisher's Weekly.
The imprint is launching with heavy-hitting suspense authors including Mark Billingham, Lawrence Block, Lee Child (Editor), Marcia Clark, Charlie Huston, Joe R. Lansdale, Q.R. Markham, Thomas Mullen, Michael Robotham, Sebastian Rotella, Greg Rucka, Nick Santora, Michael Marshall Smith, Duane Swierczynski, and Daniel Woodrell. They announced last night on their facebook page that they acquired a new horror suspense novel (Breed) by Scott Spencer.
Following the example of Tor books, their well-assembled website features detailed information on the books and authors, new original fiction being posted weekly from authors like Andrew Vachss, Charlie Huston, and many more.
